Founded in 2008, RiverRun Community Montessori provides affordable individualized education in a community setting for preschool, elementary, and middle school aged children. We are the only Montessori school in Schenectady County with elementary and middle school programs. One of the important components of a RiverRun education is monthly field trips.

Electric City Bike Rescue
Electric City Bike Rescue will be at the Schenectady Greenmarket Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Our volunteers will be doing minor repairs, such as fixing flats and adjusting brakes, and teaching bike owners how to do it themselves.
Greenmarket attendees will also have a chance to make smoothies by pedaling a bike-mounted blender; and a chance to win a free bicycle in an art and essay contest.
First 20 people to bike to market get $2 tokens to spend at market.

Oh Corn! Areas and More:  For those still new to the arepa, these “English Muffins” shaped white corn buns are big enough to hold in two hands and can be eaten plain or with butter. Thanks to everyone who took part in the tomato tasting at the market last Sunday.  We hope you all loved all the delicious and beautiful tomatoes our farmers submitted.  This year we had 11 varieties tomatoes.   Lots of customers voted and even more stopped to taste and ask us where their favorite came from.

And the winners of the 2017 Schenectady Greenmarket Tomato Tasting are:
