Mariaville Farms: County in the United Kingdom. They were specially bred for the King of England for his own personal meat supply, because of the excellence in the meat! Berkshire pork is renowned for its richness, unparalled marbling, moistness, tenderness and overall depth of flavor. It is referred to by many as the Kobe beef of pork. We will have sampler packs of our pork along with our Black Angus Beef.

Mariaville Mushroom Men: Mariaville Mushroom Men will have fresh shiitakes, oysters, pioppino, cinnamon cap and lions mane mushrooms available this week. Choose any 3 fresh mushrooms for $20. We will also have grow your own mushroom kits of oysters.

Maynard Farms: “Chips A’Hoy!!” The trees have finished their bloom and the bees have headed home after a job well done! While the trees work hard growing their fruit, everyone else on the farm will be working hard to prepare for the summer season. The hot days remind us that the summer season is within reach and there’s no time to waste. Wood chips have been delivered to mulch the blueberries and the grapevines are being pruned and tied. The fields are prep’d for all the baby plants. Such an exciting time! Visit Maynard Farms at the Farmer’s Markets this weekend for a great selection of crisp apples, tasty cider and fresh cut greens. We’ll have our wide variety of tasty apples to choose from – sweet Fuji, Golden Delicious, Empire, Macoun, Gala, Jonagold, Cortland, Wine Crisp and Red Delicious – and tangy to tart Mutsu, Pink Lady, Stayman Winesap, MacIntosh, Ida Red, Braeburn and Gold Rush. Mariaville Farms: Looking forward to being outside this coming Sunday. We will have our famous Bacon and delicious tasting sausages, we have cuts available from our Berkshire pork and Black Angus beef. Mariaville Mushroom Men will have fresh mushrooms, teas and seasonings. In celebration of the summer market, every 5th customer will get a free dozen eggs.

Maynard Farms: May has arrived and has brought warmer days! The orchard is even more beautiful than it was last week. The frilly white plum blossoms are in full bloom, along with the peach and nectarine trees. The strawberry plants are soaking up the sun and growing fast. The bees are living up to their “busy as a bee” reputation! The warm weather has arrived just in time to usher in the outdoor market season! Stop by Maynard Farms this week for a beautiful bouquet of peach blossoms – pink and fragrant – a true sign of Spring! WASH Green and Clean: We are gearing up for our last week at market! We will have all of our laundry soaps, eco friendly cleaning products available for your purchase!
