Start your holiday shopping here.

December has arrived. At Schenectady Greenmarket, we love to support small farmers and creators–Buy Local, Eat Local, right? Its easy for you to do so when you have so much great stuff to choose from. Start your shopping early and pick up an artisan item while you’re grabbing food for the week.

For the next two Sundays, we’ll be doing a free gift basket wrapping station. Pick up a basket, fill it up, and we’ll make it pretty for you once you’re done.

Free Parking Downtown!
Because of the many events going on downtown this weekend Metroplex has waived all parking fees for the entire weekend. While you’re in downtown Schenectady you might want to check out the Holiday Bazaar across the street on Jay!Are you planning on shopping at the Open Door Bookstore on Jay Street this month?
The Open Door is doing a great promotion for local nonprofits where they will donate 15% of any purchase during specific windows. They will be doing this for the Schenectady Greenmarket on Monday, December 11 between 6PM and 7:30PM.So if you want to do a little shopping at the Open Door, consider going during our window and helping us out!
