Can you believe it? It’s the last Sunday of summer, but that just means we’re entering the best time of year for the market, especially for produce. The farmers’ tables are just STUFFED with mouthwatering food. Come down to City Hall and see us this weekend for another lovely market.

Bouchard Farm II: The summer season is coming to an end so get some quality grilling time in. Pick up some of our grass-fed beef or pastured pork for the final days of summer.

Hope Valley Farm: Tomatoes, red beets, red potatoes, red & green lettuce, swiss chard, curly & tuscano kale, garlic, pickled garlic & scapes, napa cabbage, savoy cabbage, unsprayed corn, and more.

Mariaville Farm: Fresh eggs from our free roaming hens. Fresh never frozen chicken, whole birds and parts, how about a carcass to make a nice chicken soup. Pasture raised Black Angus beef and pork. Pork packages available.

Maynard Farms: Not ready for fall? Well it’s still summer here at Maynard Farms. The crew has been working hard this week picking beautiful peaches and nectarines! Yellow and white, juicy and delicious! Luscious strawberries, tangy raspberries and plump blueberries will remind you of summer days!! If fall is more your thing – you’re in luck! Lots of fresh off the tree apples will be at the markets this weekend – Zestar, Blondee, Gala, Fuji, Jonathan, McIntosh, Autumn Crisp, Honeycrisp and Ginger Gold and probably more by the weekend! Crunchy Bosc pears and smooth Bartlett pears are so good right now! And Grapes!! Several varieties to choose from – from traditional, flavorful Concord to sweet, seedless Vanessa Red. Of course we’ll have our full line of fresh, delicious veggies as well – colorful sweet peppers in yellow, red, orange, purple and chocolate brown, heirloom eggplant in beautiful shades of purple and white, corn, zucchini, summer squash, baby carrots, kirbies, cucumbers, kale, garlic, cauliflower and broccoli. There’s not much better to remind you of summer than a fresh picked heirloom tomato – stop by and see our beautiful selection of colorful slicing and cherry tomatoes – from sweet as sugar to more savory. All will all be available at the markets this weekend! Look forward to seeing you!
