Vendor Passport Program
This January and February, Schenectady Greenmarket is creating an exciting “Vendor Passport” program, with a Grand Prize for one lucky customer - a 3-day, 2-night vacation package, in partnership with the Daily Gazette!
Customers can pick up their Vendor Passport at the Market Table on any market day throughout January and February 2012. In order to complete the Vendor Passport, customers must visit a minimum number of participating Schenectady Greenmarket vendors (10 out of 12) and get their Vendor Passport stamped by each participating vendor listed on the passport. After the customer has collected at least the minimum number of stamps, the customer can then complete the entry form on the back of the Vendor Passport, drop it in the contest entry box, and be entered to win the Vacation Package.
Contest rules
- Contest will run from January 15, 2012 through February 26, 2012.
- Entrants must be 18 years or older to enter.
- Only one entry per household.
- No purchase necessary to enter; passport stamps do not require a purchase, and purchases will not increase chances of winning.
- Schenectady Greenmarket employees, vendors, and board members are not eligible.
- In order to enter the contest, entrants must collect ten or more “stamps” on their passport, collected from participating Schenectady Greenmarket vendors. Vendors will not require entrants to make a purchase in order to get a stamp.
- Vendor Passports can be obtained on market days at the Schenectady Greenmarket table, as well as at Schenectady City Hall and Ambition Cafe (154 Jay Street).
- The winner will be drawn from all completed entries on Monday, February 27, 2012.
- The winner will be notified by telephone on Monday, February 27, 2012. The winners will be required to complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Release and claim the prize in a manner determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion within two days of the date of notification or they will be disqualified. If a winner cannot be reached, or if a winner does not return the signed and completed Certification of Eligibility and Release and claim the prize within the designated time period, that prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected by random drawing if, in Sponsor’s reasonable discretion, time permits.
- The prize is a 3-day, 2-night vacation package provided by The Daily Gazette and Capitol Marketing. Travel must be completed by November 1, 2012. Prize winner will receive complete prize details, including a Reservation Request form and Guidelines, provided by Capitol Marketing. It is the prize winner’s sole responsibility to claim all prizes, using the documents provided. Schenectady Greenmarket shall not be held responsible for lost or unclaimed prizes.
