CircusYoga fosters connection, play and communication through group games and invention, creative movement, circus skills, balance, partner yoga, and partner acrobatics. Whoa Nelly first formed at a Schenectady Greenmarket jam in the late fall of 2008. Whoa Nelly plays acoustic music which draws from various traditions; bluegrass, alt-country, folk, gospel and blues, topping it off with three-part vocal harmonies. Whoa Nelly includes Peggy Lecuyer on mandolin, harmonica, guitar and vocals, Tim Barker on guitar and vocals, Karen Gilpin on guitar, vocals and banjo and Gene “Clembone” Lemme on stand up bass.
