|So much to do in Downtown Schenectady!
This is a great weekend to come downtown and enjoy the food and cultural heritage of Schenectady! Of course, your market is here every Sunday with our local food and crafts, but this Saturday you can also peruse the art at the 65th Annual Stockade Villagers’ Outdoor Art Show, check out the kids activities at MVP’s 5th Annual Community Health Fair, and get an Italian ice at the 11th Annual Little Italy Street Fest. And don’t forget the 41st Annual St. George Greek Festival, held Friday through Sunday. Please note that the festival will impact parking for the market.
Who are those folks in the red shirts?
The Schenectady Ambassadors! They provide a smiling face and a helping hand to the visitors and vendors of the market, and at the end of the day, take fresh produce and baked goods donated from the vendors to local food pantries. We love that they are a part of our community! You can learn more about the Schenectady Ambassadors here.
